Texture Mapping

The first step is UV-ing the geometry. A model that has UV coordinates carefully applied, efficiently utilizes as much of the map space a possible, leveraging every pixel possible. At Zygote, our artists are experts at texture mapping models so that seams are hidden and stretching is avoided. For years we have worked closely with art directors from many different games delivering textured models that fit each unique game art style. We carefully match color pallets, saturation levels, and pay close attention to detail.
